Coombe Abbey Hotel is a luxury hotel with 83 bedrooms in Coventry, Warwickshire.
Situation The hotel used a standard booking engine linked to their property management system. The booking engine offered
little by way of flexibility, with a prolonged eight stage booking process, conversions were minimal compared to telephone
sales.
A review of the booking process was carried out, recommendations were provided and improvements
made to the booking system which resulted in increased sales and improved conversion rates.
